Kickresume's cover letter AI is more sophisticated than Resume.io — it asks for job description context and attempts to tailor the output. The formatting is excellent and the templates are visually attractive. The AI output quality is decent but inconsistent; some generations are good, others fall back on obvious AI phrasing.

Rezi is strongly ATS-focused — their entire brand is built around beating ATS systems. Their cover letter generator is solid and produces clean, ATS-safe output. The human quality of the writing is average; the letters are competent and keyword-rich but sometimes read slightly robotic.
Best for: candidates in highly competitive technical fields where ATS pass-through rate is the primary concern. Weaker at producing letters that impress human readers.
Teal — Free/Paid ($29/month)
Teal is a job search platform that includes a cover letter AI. The integration with their job tracker is useful — you can generate a cover letter directly from a saved job. The AI output is competent but generic; it mirrors the job description too closely without adding unique candidate voice or specific achievements.
Best for: candidates who want an all-in-one job search platform. The cover letter generation is functional but not a differentiator.
